CREATING A BETTER WORLD: AN INTERNATIONAL ANTHOLOGY OF VERSES comprising of poems written by international poets in the How to Write for Success Literary Forum, will soon be ready for publication.

This Anthology will be published jointly with CIESART - Trinidad and Tobago.

Certificates will be awarded by both CIESART and HTWFS to the poets, on Trinidad and Tobago’s 60th Independence Day celebrations on 31st. August 2022.

The Manuscript for the Anthology will be edited by Anganie Ramsaroop – Director/General of CIESART – Trinidad and Tobago.

The Preface was written by Lily Baylon, President of CIESART, Europe.

The impressive Foreword was written by Dr. Vandita Dharni - Chief Literary Ambassador - India, of the How to Write for Success Literary Network.

This Anthology is dedicated to the memory of the great Trinidadian writer and Nobel Prize Winner 2001 – Sir Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul - Nobel Laureate. V. S. Naipaul was knighted in 1989. He was awarded the David Cohen British Literature Prize by the Arts Council in England in 1993. In 2001, V. S. Naipaul was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for having united perceptive narrative and incorruptible scrutiny in works that compel us to see the presence of suppressed histories.

The Facebook Literary Forum – How to Write for Success, founded by Trinidad Author Brenda Mohammed recently published Volume Two of Break the Silence: An Anthology of Poems Against Domestic Violence.

It is no secret that domestic violence has been on the rise during these Covid times.

Many persons have lost their jobs, and even homes, because of the severe economic downturn the pandemic has incurred. 

Businesses are closing down everywhere, and workers are left on the breadline. 

Both sexes suffer from domestic violence by their partners, or others.

When I read the newspaper on the morning of February 12th, 2020, and saw the murder/suicide of a wife and husband I was appalled. 

I penned a poem about the incident immediately. 

The newspapers reported that the couple was in love and got married. 

 I wondered how could love made in heaven turn sour and result in hatred and murder. 

 I was inspired to do an Anthology of Poems Against Domestic Violence. 

Together with 87 poets of the How to Write for Success Literary Network, we published BREAK THE SILENCE, and it attained the rank of Bestseller No 1. 

More than a year has passed and with the rising cases of abuse seen daily, we have decided to publish a second volume. 

We believe that persons in abusive situations must speak out against this menace in our society, and as writers, we will support them.

The number of cases has gone up...

Gosh...what chaos!
Well, I’m sure by now, all of you have got a brief idea of what I’m hinting at. Yes, the world has turned upside down all of a sudden. The mythical blood moon started showing its rays and doomsday rehearsal is going on. Are we all preparing ourselves for a final exit?
Nonsense!
We aren’t brain dead. We are still breathing. We are getting back to work. We are brave enough to walk amidst the corpses with a firm determination that as a human, we are blessed to keep hope and thoughts alive.
As prominent writers, Author Brenda Mohammed and Author Florabelle Lutchman relay hope, amusement, and awareness to millions of readers through this book titled ‘Chaotic Times.'
