My friend, Brenda since the age of 18,
we became friends when I
ventured into the workforce,
after graduating from high school.
We lived in the same town.
She was an inspiration to me then, and even now.
Her latest poetry book, “Treasured Memories”
is definitely well-written
& documents her travels around the world
very explicitly, in prose and photos.
For anyone who has not visited some of these countries,
you should purchase a copy.
It is also a thoughtful Christmas gift, for the aspiring poet.
I have read practically all of her books.
One of the most educational is “How to Write for Success”.
This book is very informative for anyone contemplating a future in
Literature.
Keep on writing, Brenda.
I am very proud of you and all your accomplishments and
accolades over the last several years.

SHANITA VICHARE REVIEWS HOW TO WRITE FOR SUCCESS: VOLUME TWO PUBLISHED BY BRENDA MOHAMMED

SHANITA VICHARE REVIEWS HOW TO WRITE FOR SUCCESS: VOLUME TWO PUBLISHED BY BRENDA MOHAMMED

Multiple - award-winning Author Brenda Mohammed has published 42 books.

Her 42nd book was Tea Time Poetry.

Her hot pick from Amazon basket is her widely read books HOW TO WRITE FOR SUCCESS: Volumes 1 & 2.

Most meticulous in her authorpreneurship, prolific in her writing craft, and expertise in using the writing analog extensively, using the most recent tenets, is her cup of tea!

I must agree. Brenda Mohammed has written this outstanding book- How To Write For Success: Volume 2, in the most lucid style. It is a very apt book for self-publishing/ indie authors and poets.

She has given detailed information from writing your manuscript, editing, how to fetch ISBN code, and how to format and publish it on Amazon.

KDP option to scale is very well explained, but you must read the book to find out more.

Let me give you some background on Brenda Mohammed.

Stories That Intrigue, Stories People Love, Barry Holmes Mysteries, How To Write For Success Volumes 1 & 2, Zeeka Chronicles, and I am Cancer Free, are page-turners in the collectibles written by her.

How to Write for Success made waves globally as it went on to feature in the Readers’ Choice Awards.

In November 2018 Brenda won two awards from Readers Favorite International for her science fiction book, ‘Zeeka Chronicles’ in the category Young Adult Thriller, and her Memoir, ‘I am Cancer Free’ in the category Health and Fitness.

Three of her books won gold awards in Connection EMagazine Readers’ Choice Awards in 2018 and 2019 - Zeeka Chronicles, Stories People love, and How to Write for Success.

In Sept 2021 her mystery book, Barry Holmes Mysteries, won her the Writer – Best Fantasy Award in the CLR Awards.

In Brenda's Mohammed’s group project - Break The Silence: Volumes 1-2 Poetry Anthologies, she raises voices against domestic violence, for women who have a caged bird existence.  She has co-authored both books with 178 International poets and both books achieved Amazon No 1 Bestsellers Ranking.

Another group project for Suicide Prevention, A Spark of Hope: Volumes One and Two, also achieved Amazon No 1 Best Sellers ranking.

In her book on her fight Against Cancer – I AM CANCER FREE, her success story and fecund penmanship is strongly wired with her strong grit and survival instinct, when the verdant writer Brenda Mohammed fought her battle against cancer. She has never looked back since then, and the axiom 'Pen Is Mightier Than the Sword' is absolutely true for this Evergreen Writer.

Ten of her publications are Poetry books

With her outstanding contributions to Literature, she is well-placed to advise on How to Write for Success. I give the book HOW TO WRITE FOR SUCCESS: VOLUME TWO Five-stars.

"Reviewed By Lesley Jones for Readers' Favorite
In Stories That Intrigue by Brenda Mohammed, Julia, a best-selling novelist, and her younger sister Stephanie have just landed in Heathrow Airport from Trinidad. They plan to meet Sam Jurai whom Julia met through social media and who will be working with Julia on her 24th novel before traveling to France where Stephanie is about to start her fashion degree at the university. Throughout these fast-paced six short stories, Julia and Stephanie travel from London to France, Switzerland, and New York where they discover the streets are filled with exciting and wonderful places as well as situations that threaten their safety. Sam proves to be a valuable travel partner but he holds a secret love for Julia. Will he find the courage to tell her how he feels and how will she respond?
Each of the short stories is compelling and includes the perfect amount of tension and suspense. Brenda has cleverly written each tale to flow effortlessly into the next. The relationship between Julia and Stephanie is wonderful; their dialogue and actions perfectly prove the support and care they have for one another. Both Julia and Stephanie have the ideal blend of femininity and strong independence which I love to see in female characters. Stories That Intrigue by Brenda Mohammed is the perfect book for anyone who loves to travel as the cities throughout are described in superb detail. You really get a sense of the culture and atmosphere in each of the places they visit. I also loved the fact that the characters were from different cultures. The author has a wonderful talent in creating characters and dialogue that completely engage the reader. The stories are filled with love, exciting action, human vulnerability, and tense dangerous situations."

"Below you will find ratings (scale of 1-5) with descriptions for the major parts of your book followed by your Readers' Favorite review. Although these are general ratings we hope they will give you an insight into how others may view the different components of your book.
These are the opinions of your reviewer, and although your reviewer is not an expert literary critic or professional editor, they are at the very least, an avid reader of books just like yours.

Title:  Stories That Intrigue
Subtitle:  Six Stories of Romance, Delight, and Mystery
Author:  Brenda Mohammed
Genre:  Romance - Suspense

Appearance: 5 The appearance of a book can make a significant impact on the experience of a reader, whose enjoyment is often enhanced by an enticing cover, an intriguing table of contents, interesting chapter headings, and when possible, eye-catching illustrations.

Plot:  5 The characters of a book should be well defined with strengths and flaws, and while they do not have to be likable, the reader does have to be able to form a connection with them.
The tone should be consistent, the theme should be clear, and the plot should be original or told from a unique perspective.
For informative books -those without plot and characters--this rating refers primarily to your concept and how well you presented it.

Development: 5 Development refers to how effectively you told your story or discussed your topic. The dialogue should be realistic, the descriptions should be vivid, and the material should be concise and coherent.
Organization is also a key factor, especially for informative books -- those without plot and characters.
The order in which you tell your story or explain your topic and how smoothly it flows can have a huge impact on the reader's understanding and enjoyment of the material.

Formatting:4 Formatting is the single most overlooked area by authors.
The way in which you describe scenes, display dialogue and shift points of view can make or break your story.
In addition, excessive grammatical errors and typos can give your book an amateurish feel and even put off readers completely.

Marketability:5 Marketability refers to how effectively you wrote your book for your target audience. Authors may include content that is above or below the understanding of their target reader or include concepts, opinions, or language that can accidentally confuse or alienate some readers.
