STAND AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

No one should have to endure the abuse of another human being.

We are all made equal in the eyes of God.

BREAK THE SILENCE VOLUME  ONE AND TWO  were written by almost 200 International poets of the How to Write for Success Literary Network
Together these poets have used their pens to raise their voices against Domestic Violence.
The first issue of this anthology was published in March 2020. From the feedback received, it brought relief to many victims of domestic violence. 
With the onslaught of Covid 19 and the extended lockdowns, Domestic Violence started to rise again. 
We believe that persons in abusive situations must speak out against this menace in our society, and as writers, we will support them.
Together we can break the Silence and give Domestic Violence a Voice.

The feature article in Volume One, by the former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Trinidad and Tobago, Right Reverend Joy Abdul – Mohan gives Biblical views.
It is the hope of the prolific poets that these books will save the lives of many who are undergoing such brutal attacks from so-called loved ones

A POETRY ANTHOLOGY AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

BREAK THE SILENCE VOLUME 2 is the work of 91 International poets of the How to Write for Success Literary Network. Together they have used their pens to raise their voices against Domestic Violence.

The Outstanding Foreword was written by Brenda Mohammed of Trinidad and Tobago, the brilliant Introduction by Florabelle Lutchman of Trinidad and Tobago, and the superb Acknowledgement by Shanita Vichare of India.

One of the poets, Mary L Schmidt gave an inspiring interview about her experience with domestic violence.

These poems encourage persons in abusive situations to speak out against this menace in our society.

The mission of the book is stated in the book description, "Together we can break the Silence and give Domestic Violence a Voice."

This book is worth reading by all victims of domestic violence, and even by abusers.
