TRIP TO UNIVERSAL STUDIOS
Boatloads of fun were in store for our families,
At Universal Studios in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
We took the tram tour through the studios’ alleys,
Flash floods, a plane crash, and falling rain,
Jurassic World, the parting of the Red Sea, a derailed train,
Jaws, a burning building, the six-million-dollar man,
King Kong, the Mummy’s tomb, the giants’ land.
Spiders crawled all over the tram, we panicked.
Screamed out our lungs, unaware it was a camera trick.
At Water World, sprayed with hoses by the hosts we met.
Enjoyed the magnificent show while dripping wet.
At Van Helsing: Fortress Dracula, a horror house,
Huge, dark, and like a maze, I felt like a mouse.
Scary-looking creatures and vampires kept grabbing me.
We spent a long time trying to reach the exit to be free.
The Wild West, with cowboys and horses, was great fun.
Backdraft was a burning inferno special effects movie rerun.
We sat in the cinema to see Shrek II and Terminator II.
In our seats, we felt every movement on the screen too.
Universal Studios is a film studio and theme park.
It’s also available in Europe, Florida, and Japan.
One of the fun places to put on your bucket list.
Take young ones, even grown-ups, and pay a visit.
